PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES
The Ethnography Hub develops initiatives that foster interdisciplinary ethnographic practice across the social sciences, humanities, and professional schools. They reflect the Hub’s commitment to advancing innovative ethnography that crosses disciplinary boundaries and engages with the urgent social and political questions of our time. In 2025–26, against the 2024 backdrop of the largest global election cycle in recorded history, programming is organized around the theme Global Realignments, Ethnographically—a series that examines how shifting affects of power and structures of global governance are reshaping everyday life, solidarities, and ethnographic practice.
